Delivery Information

When ordering Gaco Products only, you will be offered two delivery options at checkout:

• Standard Delivery: Estimated delivery within 2–4 working days.
• Next Working Day Delivery: Orders must be placed before 11am to qualify. Orders placed after this cut-off will be processed on the following working day.

Next Working Day Delivery is an estimated, non-guaranteed service. We cannot offer a refund or discount on the delivery charge solely because an order arrives later than the estimated timescale. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If your order also includes products from other brands, checkout will display combined delivery charges. This combined service does not include next working day delivery for Gaco products. If you require this option, please contact us before placing your order.

Please advise us before dispatch of any access restrictions, road closures or other circumstances that could prevent or delay delivery. Delivery vehicles may range from small vans to rigid and large articulated HGVs. We cannot control which vehicle is allocated to your order.

We strongly recommend that you do not schedule roofing works until your order has been received in full and checked.
Checking Your Delivery

Please inspect your order on arrival. Any visible damage should be recorded on the delivery paperwork, and any damaged items must be reported to our office within 48 hours of delivery. Photographs of the packaging and affected products will help us resolve the matter promptly.

Tins may occasionally become dented or distorted during transport. Cosmetic dents do not normally affect the contents or their suitability for use, provided the tin remains sealed and intact, we would not normally refund or exchange. If a tin is split, leaking, open or has a damaged seal, please report it as a damaged item.

Returns Information

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery. Please contact our office before returning any products so we can confirm the correct procedure and return address. The return address may differ from our operational depot.

Products must be unused, unopened and in their original condition. For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the return delivery costs and for ensuring the goods are securely packaged.

Returned goods remain your responsibility until they have been received and inspected by our customer service team. We recommend using a tracked delivery service with suitable cover for the value of the goods. We cannot refund items that are missing from the return or arrive damaged.

These conditions do not affect your statutory rights, including those relating to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

What is GacoFlex H.E.R. used for?

GacoFlex H.E.R. is a polyurethane roof sealant used for waterproofing metal roof seams, fasteners, gutters and flashings around roof penetrations. It is also used for detailing seams, upstands and penetrations within the GacoFlex U9 urethane roof system.

Does GacoFlex H.E.R. remain flexible once cured?

Yes. It cures to a tough, elastomeric seal that accommodates movement, helping to maintain waterproof protection at roof joints and details.

What surfaces can it be used on?

GacoFlex H.E.R. offers excellent adhesion to galvanised and similarly coated metals. It can also be used to seal polyurethane foam, wood and concrete. Check the manufacturer’s guidance for surface preparation and any priming requirements.

Does it need mixing with a separate hardener?

No. GacoFlex H.E.R. is a single-component product, so no separate hardener is required. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for preparing the product before application.

How does GacoFlex H.E.R. cure?

It cures through contact with moisture in the air, forming a seamless, flexible membrane. Curing time will depend on application thickness and site conditions.

Can it be used with GacoFlex U91 and U92?

Yes. GacoFlex H.E.R. is the detailing partner to GacoFlex U91 base coat and U92 top coat, providing waterproof sealing at seams, flashings, upstands and penetrations within the system.

What colour is GacoFlex H.E.R.?

It is supplied in Aluminium Grey.

How much does one pail cover?

The stated coverage is approximately 230 linear metres per pail. Actual coverage depends on the size of the seam or detail and the amount of sealant required. Confirm the pail size and application specification before calculating quantities.

Can I keep a part-used pail?

Part-used pails must be resealed tightly immediately after use because the product cures on contact with moisture in the air. Follow the manufacturer’s storage guidance and check the condition of the product before reusing it.
