EAGLE DT1One Coat is a high-performance, single-component liquid membrane suitable for waterproofing new roofs and re-roofing projects. Applied in one coat, it cures to form a seamless, elastic, and fully waterproof layer that resists UV radiation, weather extremes, stagnant water, ice, and mechanical stress.

Fast Application To Many Surfaces

The material is compatible with a wide range of substrates, including bituminous sheets, concrete, wood, metal, PVC, fibre cement, ceramics, and synthetic sheets. Application is fast and straightforward using a solvent-resistant roller, requiring no reinforcement or primer.

EAGLE DT1 features superior crack-bridging, retains its physical properties from -30°C to +90°C, and remains vapor permeable, allowing surfaces to breathe. What is DT1 roof coating used for?

DT1 is a single-component hybrid polyurethane liquid waterproofing membrane for new and existing flat roofs. It can also be used for balconies, terraces, walkways, gutters and vertical surfaces, subject to the substrate and application requirements in the technical data sheet.

How much DT1 do I need for my roof?

The listed application rate is approximately 1.5–2kg per m², so a 14kg drum covers around 7–9m². Actual quantities depend on the surface and roof details. Measure your roof area and check the specified coverage rate before ordering; contact us if you would like help estimating quantities.

What sizes and colour are available?

DT1 is available in 4.5kg and 14kg drums in Traffic Grey (RAL 7042).

How quickly does DT1 dry?

DT1 is listed as touch dry in approximately 2–3 hours. Touch dry does not mean fully cured or ready for foot traffic. Check the technical data sheet for application conditions and curing guidance before planning access to the coated surface.

Does DT1 need a primer?

DT1 is described as bonding to most substrates without a primer, including timber, GRP, bituminous membranes, metal and concrete. This is not a blanket approval for every surface or existing coating.
