Ubbink was founded in the Netherlands in 1896, with the UK branch established in 1976. The FRS60 is a ballasted mounting system for fixing solar PV panels to flat roofs at a fixed 15° pitch - the angle that balances solar capture against wind loading on a flat deck. It's a lightweight, low-maintenance option that avoids penetrating the waterproofing.
Each tub is filled with ballast (concrete paving slabs or similar) to hold the array in place through high winds. It suits most standard PV panel sizes and installs quickly. Ubbink UB47 Insulated Roof Terminal – 150mm Black
The UB47 is an insulated pitched roof terminal for tiled and slated roofs, supplied complete with a Ubiflex flashing and suited to roof pitches between 25° and 45°. It's engineered for mechanical extraction systems where energy efficiency matters.
The distinguishing feature is full insulation through the cowl, which minimises heat loss and cuts the risk of condensation forming inside or outside the ductwork - useful on ventilation, heating or cooling runs. Technical details: 150mm diameter, a free vent area of 17,750mm², airflow resistance below 1.0 Pascal at 225m³/h, injection-moulded and vacuum-formed construction, and a black finish. Ubbink Ubiflex B3 Lead-Free Flashing Roll
Ubiflex B3 is a non-lead flashing that handles the applications you'd traditionally use lead sheet for - without the weight, health risks or theft appeal. It's highly malleable, forming easily around stepped flashings, abutments, chimneys, valleys, dormers, rooflights and solar panels, including sharp corners.
Construction is a reinforced aluminium mesh with a granular-coated bitumen surface; the underside carries a Kraft paper and film backing for easier handling. It's BBA certified for general use and, when used with Ubiflex Gap Seal, has been tested by BRE in wind-tunnel conditions up to 110mph (49m/s). Fix it with Ubbink's High Tack Sealant for best results.

Ubbink OFT 1 Flat Roof Vent Terminal
The OFT 1 is a capped stack that delivers high-capacity ventilation for flat roofing systems, on new builds and refurbishments alike. It's compatible with a wide range of coverings -asphalt, built-up felt, EPDM and bitumen - so it fits most flat roof specifications.
The design prioritises airflow: a large free vent area and low Pascal resistance keep the system efficient, while the capped, rain-proof top prevents water ingress. It's moulded from durable polypropylene for long service in UK weather, and the discreet profile blends with modern roofing. It works equally well on domestic and commercial roofs.

Ubbink UB41 Universal Hooded Ventilation Tile with Adaptor
The UB41 solves a common site headache: ventilating through a tiled or slated pitched roof without first identifying the exact tile profile. One universal unit covers most slate and tile profiles, combining airflow, a watertight seal and wide compatibility.
It has a large 18,750mm² free vent area and a stepped adaptor that accepts ducting of 100/110/125/150/160mm, making it suitable for bathroom fans, soil and vent pipes (non-pressure-tested systems) and mechanical ventilation outlets. A durable Ubiflex skirt (500mm x 500mm) tucks under the surrounding tiles for a secure seal, and the hooded design keeps out wind and rain. Ubbink Ubiflux Vigor MVHR Ventilation Unit with Heat Recovery
The Ubiflux Vigor is a Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) unit built around Ubbink's proprietary Holmak heat exchanger, delivering high thermal efficiency with low electrical consumption and quiet operation. It runs continuously, extracting warm, moisture-laden air from kitchens and bathrooms and transferring that heat to filtered incoming fresh air.
It achieves over 90% heat recovery efficiency and uses Constant Flow 2.0 technology for balanced supply and extract, with a TFT touchscreen offering installation and maintenance wizards. A summer bypass mode prevents overheating, and a built-in ball siphon handles condensate drainage. It removes the need for trickle vents or separate bathroom and kitchen fans.
