SilverSeel GRP Roofing Resin Base Coat and Catalyst.
Silverseel GRP Fibreglass Resin Basecoat featuring a base resin system has been designed specifically for roofing applications. When paired with the Silverseel topcoat, this system has undergone rigorous external fire exposure roof tests, achieving fire retardant certification to BS476 Part 3 FAB standards.
The Silverseel Roofing System can be applied to any new flat roof installation, regardless of size or configuration, without the need for costly specialized tools. The resulting monolithic (seamless) membrane is exceptionally durable, standing up to UV rays, heat, weathering, and foot traffic, making it perfect for balconies or walkways.
Tested and approved to meet stringent fire resistance specifications (BS476 pt3 FAB), the Silverseel system complies with all building control requirements for flat roofing.
We also supply Silverseel as a complete roofing kit.
The Silverseel GRP Resin Basecoat comes with a Catalyst included as standard. You can select which Catalyst you require.
- SLOW - 20°C +
- STANDARD - 12 to 20°C
- FAST - 5 to 12°C
The speed of catalyst you need depends on your working temperature.
NOTE: this is a guide, as other factors, such as direct sunlight, can also affect cure speed.
