GRP Roofing Topcoat Paint in Dark Grey is isophthalic topcoat that is used in conjunction with their GRP fiberglass matting/resin system for flat or sloping roofing applications that require high-quality painted finish. It is designed to be applied with a roller and exhibits good levelling characteristics and sag resistance on inclined surfaces.

Topcoat Coverage:

  • 5kg Container: Covers approximately 8.3m² (0.6kg per m²).
  • 10kg Container: Covers approximately 16.6m² (0.6kg per m²).
  • 20kg Container: Covers approximately 33.2m² (0.6kg per m²).

Application Instructions:
Preparation: Ensure the fibreglass surface is sanded with 40-grade sandpaper, wiped clean with acetone, and is dust-free and completely dry.
Mixing: Add a maximum of 2% ResiRoof Catalyst by volume (20ml per kg). Mix by hand thoroughly, avoiding mechanical mixing.
Application: Apply out of direct sunlight and heat. Use a ResiRoof short pile roller for main roof areas and a brush for edges and corners. Apply approximately 0.6kg per m².
