Specialist Flashing Kits for Low Pitch Roof Installations.
Looking to fit roof windows into low pitch roofs or mansard extensions? The FAKRO EZA, ESA & EHA Flashing Kits are your go-to solution for safely and securely installing Fakro roof windows in roofs with pitches as low as 10° – a perfect fit for extensions, loft conversions, or low slope attic renovations.
These flashings cleverly raise the window installation angle by an additional 10°, helping to improve drainage, daylight and headroom—especially useful in horizontal multi-window combinations (ensure 20cm spacing between windows).
Three Flashing Options to Suit Your Roof Covering:
- ESA Flashing – Designed for flat roof coverings up to 10mm (2 x 5mm). Ideal for use with non-interlocking slate and similar materials.
- EZA-P Flashing – For profiled tiles and roof sheeting up to 45mm high. A versatile choice for tile and profiled sheet installations.
- EHA Flashing – Made for deep-profiled coverings up to 90mm, including corrugated and heavily profiled tiles and sheeting.
Key Features:
- Suitable for roof pitches between 10°–75°.
- Enables a 10° angle increase to improve performance on shallow roofs.
- Comes with specially designed brackets to aid accurate installation.
- Integrated insulation strips on side and upper elements for improved thermal performance.
- Includes a gutter system to drain condensation away from the window.
- Wind and weather protection seals included (EZA & EHA models).
- Can be used for single or horizontal modular installations (with 20cm gap).
Important Notes:
- Not suitable for Forticrete Centurion tile roofs.
- Designed specifically for Fakro centre pivot and top hung windows – check your model compatibility.
- Flashing kits are not universal – choose the correct type for your roof covering.

Measuring Guide
All measurements are displayed width x length and it is important that you leave a 10mm gap all the way around the window when fitting, this is for things like flashing and insulation.
For example, if you had a 78x98cm window, the opening in the roof would need to be 80x100cm. We would recommend contacting a qualified builder or window fitter to measure your space before purchasing.
