Ensure a secure and durable installation of profiled fibre cement roofing sheets onto cold-rolled steel joists ( 3 - 12mm thick) with heavy Section Baz Fixing Screws. Designed for quick and efficient top-fixing, these self-tapping drillscrews eliminate the need for pre-drilling, reducing installation time while ensuring a strong, weatherproof hold.

Each fixing features an 8mm hex head for easy application, along with a galvanised washer and rubber-domed sealer washer for long-lasting corrosion resistance and waterproof sealing. The special wing design on the shank drills a wider diameter hole, allowing for the natural expansion and contraction of the fibre cement sheet, preventing stress and damage over time.

For optimal performance, these fixings should be installed through the crown of the sheet profile, not in the valley.

Key Features:

  • Fast & Easy Installation – Self-tapping design allows for quick fixing with no pre-drilling.
  • Designed for Heavy Steel Joists – Suitable for steel supports up to 12mm thick.
  • Weatherproof & Corrosion-Resistant – Galvanised washer and rubber domed sealer for long-term durability.
  • Prevents Sheet Stress – Special wing design accommodates natural movement.
  • Available in Multiple Lengths – Choose from 120mm, 155mm or 195mm to suit your project needs.
  • Bag of 100 – Ideal for large-scale roofing and cladding applications.

For a strong, secure, and long-lasting fibre cement roofing installation on heavy steel joists, choose Baz Fixing Screws—engineered for efficiency and durability.
