Collection: Steel Box Profile Sheets
Steel Box Profile Sheets
Our steel box profile sheets provide a strong, durable and cost-effective solution for roofing and wall cladding across domestic, agricultural, commercial and industrial projects. Suitable for everything from garages, sheds and workshops to warehouses, outbuildings and agricultural buildings, box profile steel sheets offer excellent weather resistance with a clean, professional appearance.
We supply 32/1000 and 34/1000 box profile roofing and cladding sheets, manufactured from high-quality steel in 0.5mm and 0.7mm thicknesses, with a wide choice of finishes, colours and bespoke lengths available.
32/1000 & 34/1000 Box Profile Roofing Sheets
Choose from our range of 32/1000 and 34/1000 steel box profile sheets, suitable for both roofing and vertical wall cladding applications.
With their distinctive profiled construction, box profile sheets combine strength with relatively low weight, making them a popular alternative to traditional roofing materials for new-build, refurbishment and replacement roofing projects.
Different sheet profiles are not necessarily compatible with one another, so when matching an existing roof or cladding installation, always check the profile dimensions carefully before ordering.
0.5mm & 0.7mm Steel Roofing Sheets
Our box profile sheets are available in 0.5mm and 0.7mm steel, depending on the selected profile, finish and application.
With options suitable for a wide range of roofing and cladding projects, you can select the sheet specification that best suits your building and installation requirements.
Polyester Painted, Plastisol & Galvanised Steel Sheets
Choose from a range of steel finishes including plain galvanised, polyester painted and Plastisol coated box profile sheets.
Our coated steel sheets are available in a selection of popular roofing and cladding colours, allowing you to choose a finish to complement both traditional and modern buildings.
Polyester painted steel sheets provide an economical and versatile solution for many general roofing and cladding applications, while Plastisol coated steel sheets offer a more substantial, hard-wearing external coating for projects where increased durability is required.
Cut-to-Length Box Profile Sheets
Reduce unnecessary cutting and material waste by ordering bespoke cut-to-length steel roofing sheets manufactured for your project.
Sheets can be produced in a wide range of lengths, with selected specifications available in bespoke lengths up to 10 metres. Ordering sheets closer to the required roof length can also help reduce the need for end laps and provide a cleaner finished installation.
Please measure carefully before ordering, as bespoke and cut-to-length roofing sheets are manufactured specifically to your requirements and are non-returnable.

FAQ's
Box Profile Roofing & Cladding Sheets – Frequently Asked Questions
What box profile steel sheets do you supply?
We supply a comprehensive range of box profile steel roofing and cladding sheets, including 32/1000 and 34/1000 profiles. Sheets are available in a choice of thicknesses, finishes and colours, with cut-to-length sheets available to suit your individual project requirements.
We also supply a full range of matching flashings, ridge pieces, barge flashings, fixings, fillers and other roofing and cladding accessories.
What is the difference between 32/1000 and 34/1000 box profile sheets?
Both are popular box profile steel sheets with an effective cover width of approximately 1000mm. The main difference is the profile design and depth, with the exact dimensions depending on the sheet manufacturer.
When adding sheets to an existing building, extension or previously installed roof, we recommend checking the existing profile carefully. Different profiles may look similar but will not necessarily lap together correctly.
What finishes are available?
Our box profile sheets are available in a range of finishes, including polyester painted and Plastisol coated steel.
The finish options available can vary according to the profile, sheet thickness, colour and required length, so please check the individual product information before ordering.
What is the difference between polyester painted and Plastisol coated sheets?
Polyester painted steel provides a cost-effective, durable finish and is widely used for roofing and cladding applications.
Plastisol coated steel has a heavier-duty coated finish designed to provide increased durability and resistance to weathering. It is commonly selected for projects where a more robust external finish is preferred.
The most appropriate option will depend on the building, environment and intended application.
Are your box profile sheets cut to length?
Yes. Many of our steel roofing and cladding sheets are manufactured and cut to the length selected when ordering. This can reduce unnecessary cutting on site, minimise waste and provide a neater installation.
Please measure carefully before ordering, as cut-to-length sheets are manufactured specifically for your order.
Can I order a length that isn't shown on the website?
In many cases, yes. The sizes displayed online are generally the most commonly requested or commercially competitive options.
If you require a different sheet or flashing length, please contact us before ordering and we can advise on availability and provide a quotation where possible.
Are cut-to-length sheets returnable?
No. Cut-to-length sheets and bespoke fabricated flashings are made specifically to your requirements and are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Once a bespoke order has entered manufacture or fabrication, it cannot normally be changed or cancelled. Please check all measurements, quantities, colours, profiles and specifications carefully before placing your order.
What colours are available?
A wide selection of traditional roofing and cladding colours is available, depending on the profile and coating selected. Options can include popular colours such as Anthracite, Black, Juniper Green, Goosewing Grey, Merlin Grey, Moorland Green, Olive Green, Slate Blue, Van Dyke Brown and White.
Colour availability varies between sheet specifications and coatings. Colours displayed on a screen should be treated as a guide only, as screen settings can affect their appearance.
Do you supply flashings to match the sheets?
Yes. We supply a comprehensive range of steel flashings and trims, including ridge flashings, barge flashings, external and internal corners and other profiles.
Many flashings can also be manufactured to order where a standard profile is not suitable for your project.
Do you supply the fixings for box profile sheets?
Yes. We offer suitable roofing and cladding fixings, together with other installation accessories such as profile fillers.
The fixing required will depend on whether the sheets are being installed to timber, steel or another suitable supporting structure.
Do you supply profile fillers?
Yes. Profile fillers are available for selected box profile sheets. These are shaped to correspond with the sheet profile and can be used at appropriate roof details to help close the gaps created by the profile.
Please ensure you select fillers designed for the particular profile being ordered.
Can box profile sheets be used for both roofing and cladding?
Yes. Box profile steel sheets are widely used for both roofing and vertical cladding, subject to selecting a suitable specification and installing them correctly.
They are commonly used on garages, workshops, agricultural buildings, warehouses, sheds, commercial buildings and many other structures.
Can I use box profile sheets on a low-pitched roof?
Box profile sheets can be used on relatively low roof pitches, but the minimum suitable pitch depends on the particular profile, sheet length, end laps, roof design and manufacturer's installation requirements.
Always check the technical information for the particular sheet before installation rather than assuming that every box profile sheet has the same minimum pitch.
Do I need anti-condensation coating?
An anti-condensation coating can be useful on certain uninsulated or open steel roof constructions where condensation may form on the underside of the sheets.
The coating is designed to temporarily absorb condensation and release the moisture when ventilation and atmospheric conditions allow it to dry.
It does not replace correct roof design, insulation, ventilation or condensation control, and availability depends on the sheet specification selected.
How do I calculate how many sheets I need?
Box profile sheets are generally based on an effective cover width, rather than simply their overall physical width. For 32/1000 and 34/1000 profiles, the effective cover is typically approximately 1000mm once correctly side-lapped.
For example, a roof width of approximately 6 metres would generally require around six sheets across that elevation. Allowances may be required depending on the roof design and detailing.
Can you manufacture sheets for my exact roof size?
Yes. One of the main advantages of steel roofing sheets is that they can often be cut to your required length during manufacture.
You will need to provide the required sheet lengths and quantities. Responsibility for checking the measurements remains with the customer, so we strongly recommend measuring carefully before placing a bespoke order.
How are the sheets delivered?
Bespoke roofing and cladding sheets are normally delivered directly from the manufacturer using vehicles suitable for transporting long steel products.
Deliveries are generally kerbside or to a suitable accessible unloading point. Customers should ensure there is suitable access for the delivery vehicle and sufficient capable assistance or mechanical unloading equipment where required.
Please refer to the individual product's delivery information for full details before ordering.
Can I collect from the depot?
Yes, for selected products. We do not stock everything displayed on our website at our depot, particularly the large range of bespoke colours, profiles, coatings and cut-to-length sheets.
We do, however, keep a small basic range of popular box profile sheets, flashings and fixings in stock for local collection.
If you would like to collect, we strongly recommend contacting us before travelling to check that the profile, colour, length and quantity you require are currently available.
Bespoke and cut-to-length sheets are generally manufactured to order and may be supplied directly from the manufacturer rather than being available for immediate depot collection.
Can I order box profile sheets online?
Yes. Our available box profile sheets, coatings, colours, lengths and accessories can be ordered through the website.
For more unusual requirements, large quantities or bespoke flashings and sheet specifications that are not displayed online, please contact us for assistance and a quotation.
What should I check before placing my order?
Before ordering, please carefully check your sheet profile, thickness, coating, colour, required lengths, quantities and accessories. You should also make sure the delivery address has suitable access for the type of vehicle required to deliver long steel sheets.
Because many steel roofing and cladding products are manufactured specifically for each order, getting the specification and measurements right before manufacture is particularly important.
