The Memtec PBM-FB Dark Grey Fleece-backed PVC Single Ply Membrane is a fully adhered roofing & waterproofing membrane, adhered to new timber decking substrate using Memcol CA Solvent Based adhesive, providing a strong adhesion to the roof area. Alternatively, use Memcol MPU Adhesive to adhere to old existing bituminous roof coverings that are still in reasonable condition and suitable for overlaying. All overlaps and joints are hot air welded using a suitable hot air welding gun.

The PBM-FB Membrane is mesh reinforced, providing maximum dimensional stability both crosswise and lengthwise. UV Resistant, Vapour Permeable, Light weight and fast to install by suitably trained roofing contractors. The finish RAL Colour of the membrane is RAL 7012. PBM-FB Membrane is only available in one size roll 1.650m x 20m x 1.5mm thick.

Please note this cannot be used for upstands and any detail work due to the Fleece-backing. You will need to use Memtec EBM for these areas.

Perimeters will need to be finished correctly and mechanically restrained using Memtec Metal Drip Edges or Peel stop bar beneath a vertical upstand.

A range of Vertical Roof Outlets and Chutes which will allow for water drainage from the roof area are available to purchase. 

Memtec Decarib Standing Seam PVC Profile which is hot air welded to the membrane to create the look of a metal standing seam roofing system and adds an aesthetically pleasing appeal.

Important Information

To successfully install Memtec PVC Single Ply Membranes, extensive training and on-site guidance for a minimum of 12 months, along with costly specialized tools, are prerequisites. This product is not suitable for DIY enthusiasts or roofing/building contractors lacking adequate experience. Any errors stemming from inexperienced installation can nullify product warranties.
